InterviewStream, a web-based company that produces and markets a
low-cost Online Interviewing System™ (OIS) -
www.interviewtrue.com to add to its list of services. This new
video interviewing technology will be marketed to corporate staffing
and outplacement companies who are looking for a streamlined way to
offer interviewing practice to their job seeking clients.
InterviewTrue™
is a system that allows job seekers to practice interviewing
using interactive video. Users can select from a library of 1,000
questions in 60 categories. They can also supplement the library by
creating their own customized questions. After practicing, the
candidate can perform a self-evaluation. Satisfied that their
interview is ready, it can be uploaded to the InterviewTrue servers
to be reviewed later by a recruiter or counselor who either sends
back a critique or meets with the candidate in person to review.
Set evaluation questions are either built into the system or can be
tailored for specific jobs.

to improve their interviewing skills. Over 200 Colleges and
Universities, including 22 of the country’s 26 major MBA programs,
are currently using the technology. University of Michigan Ross

the programs that have integrated InterviewStream into their career
placement resources available to students.
Another available
product, InterviewSCREEN™, provides hiring corporations with a
standard method for pre-screening applicants. The applicant creates
a video “snapshot” and attaches a URL to a cover letter or resume
for review by the company’s recruiter. Corporations who spend hours
reviewing resumes will now be able to screen applicants more
efficiently.
